Consider the actual issue. Briefly picture the situation in your mind’s eye. Who is involved in the situation? What is your own point of view? Exactly what problem do you wish to find a solution for?
Make a wish
Imagine you are allowed to make a wish that will come true:
What do YOU want?
Write down in a few words which aspects of your current situation you want to change and which aspects you want to remain exactly the way they are. Now picture yourself waking up the next morning to disocver your wish has become a reality.
Discover
In what way your situation has changed? What characteristics remained the same? Make a brief note of your answers.
This first little exercise will enable you to identify your concerns more precisely and those aspects that you want to change. At the same time you will become more aware of the solid base on which you can build and the environment, the activities and attributes that you would like to remain unchanged.
